Join us for four special evenings featuring live music, great food, cold beer, and community!

The first installation of the Uptown Sports Club and Meanwhile Brewing Co. summer backyard barbecue series officially kicks-off on August 2, bringing together chefs, Meanwhile beers, and live music to offer a laid-back, approachable culinary experience reminiscent of the classic summer shindig!

Our inaugural event features chef Evan Leroy of Leroy and Lewis Barbecue, who just announced his upcoming cookbook, “New School Barbecue.” Leroy is cooking up his iconic Smoked Baby Back Ribs & Dill Pasta Salad. Uptown Sports Club is also providing dishes for the event!

Meanwhile Brewing Co. is also launching a limited canned edition of their Custom Lager, initially brewed for Uptown’s opening menu and still on draft there, which will be available at every event! The American Premium Lager boasts a melody of lemon, dough and spice and is a perfect backyard BBQ accompaniment.

Featuring live music by Selena Rosanbalm from 6:30-9pm!

What is the Handling Charge for?

To ensure tickets are delivered safely and securely and to keep the price as low as possible for you, the ticket buyer, BackyardBBQ generally uses our E-ticket system unless otherwise stated.

For this service we charge a small Handling Fee to cover the debit/credit card processing fees, customer services, processing and distribution of tickets and our secure server costs. We always try to keep these costs to an absolute minimum. If you feel at any time that our prices are not fair or competitive we'd be happy to hear from you.

Delivery

If you have ordered physical paper tickets there is a further Delivery cost added to cover the delivery of your order through the Royal Mail network.

We always endeavour to keep these costs as low as possible to merely cover the costs of postage. We only charge you one Delivery cost per order so if there is a big group of you recommend purchasing larger amounts in one order.

When you purchase tickets through BackyardBBQ, the full face value of the ticket is shown. This price is the price set by the event organiser and we pay this full amount to the organiser without any deductions.
